Date: Fri, 22 Mar 1996 11:59:22 -0600 (CST) From: Chris Kaufman <kaufman@...> just had the best breakfast I've had in awhile and thought I'd share it with you... er the recipe anyways. ;> It is from 'Big Flavors of the Hot Sun'. I forget the authors and can't look it up since I sent it to my sister for her b-day.
Serves 4 as an appetizer
Dredge oysters in first three ingrediants and fry in oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until lightly browned. Set aside. Cook ginger, scallions and chile in the oil for 1 minute. Add soy to egg and scramble with the other ingrediants. Add dash of Frank's or Tabasco if desired.
Yummmm! Though I think it would have gone better with a nice lager or pilsn, rather than the coffee I had <shrug>. I halved the above recipe which worked perfectly for one for breakfast.
