Savory breakfast dish, bacon, eggs and cheese

Measure Ingredient
10 eaches SLICES OF BACON, PART FRIED
1 cup GRATED SWISS CHEESE
2 eaches GREEN ONIONS & TOPS, SLICED
4 eaches EGGS, BEATEN
1½ cup LIGHT CREAM
1¼ teaspoon SALT
⅛ teaspoon WHITE PEPPER
4 ounces FRESH MUSHROOMS (OPTIONAL)

IN A LARGE BOWL, COMBINE CHEESE, EGGS, BACON (CUT IN 1" PIECES), ONIONS, CREAM, SALT AND PEPPER. ADD MUSHROOMS IF DESIRED. POUR INTO LIGHTLY BUTTERED 8" SQUARE DISH. BAKE. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND LET STAND FOR A FEW MINUTES BEFORE SERVING.
