¼ | cup | All purpose flour |
¼ | teaspoon | Ground nutmeg |
1 | pinch | Salt |
3 | mediums | Egg whites,beaten |
4 | cups | Rubarb,cut into 1/2\" pieces |
2 | tablespoons | Butter |
Directions
Line a 9" pie plate with one of the pastries.In a seperate bowl whip the egg whites until they form peaks.In a large mixing bowl,mix the remaining ingredients except the butter.Incooperate the whipped egg whites by folding them into the mixing bowl.Add this to the pastry shell.Dot with butter and cover with the remaining pastry and seal.Bake at 400 F for 50 min.
