Rice with chicken and cheese

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 Onion; chopped
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Uncooked rice
½ cup Cut-up cheese
1 tablespoon Oil or shortening
2½ cup Water or broth
1½ cup Cut-up cooked chicken

Lightly brown onion in oil; add salt & water or broth. Heat to boiling and add rice. Cover and cook over low heat 50 minutes. Add chicken to rice.

Heat. Sprinkle cheese on each serving.
