Rathskellar pork

Measure Ingredient
5 \N Pork chops; about 3/4 inch thick
2 cups Shredded red cabbage
2 \N Green onions; chopped
2 \N Apples; peeled cored and sliced
3 tablespoons Apple jelly ( I use crabapple jelly)
2 tablespoons White wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Seasoned salt
¼ teaspoon Seasoned pepper
½ teaspoon Caraway seeds

recipes requiring more work - these come from Mable Hoffman’s Crockery Cookery, ISBN 1-55788-217-7, an absolutely marvelous book Combine everything except chops, place in pot. Trim fat from chops (I also de-bone) and top cabbage layer with the chops. Cook low 5 hours.
