Raisin pudding

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Brown sugar
2½ cup Water
¼ cup Butter
¼ cup Melted butter
½ cup Brown sugar
½ cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup All-purpose flour
\N \N Pinch of salt
2 teaspoons Baking powder
¾ cup Raisins
1 cup Whipping cream, whipped



Preheat oven to 350øF. In a saucepan, combine sauce ingredients. Heat until sugar is dissolved and butter melted. Pour into a large soufflé or casserole dish. In a bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, milk and vanilla.

Add flour, salt and baking powder. Beat well. Stir in raisins. Spoon batter onto sauce. Bake for 40 minutes. Serve warm in bowls so you don't miss any of the sauce. Serve with whipped cream.
