Quick and moist sour bread

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
5 cups Flour
2⅔ tablespoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
⅓ cup Sugar
1½ cup Sour Cream
12 ounces Light Beer
3 teaspoons Butter

Preheat oven to 350. combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. Add sour cream and beer alternately, mixing well. Pour into greased 2 quart casserole. Bake 50 minutes. Melt butter and brush over surface of bread. Bake 20 to 25 minutes more. Use the cake test for doneness. Serve plain or toasted.
