Puerto rican rice

Measure Ingredient
2 cups White rice
1 large Can of tomato sauce
½ cup Diced ham
1 teaspoon Paprika
2 tablespoons Sofrito
1 cup Peas
1 teaspoon Oregano
3 tablespoons Capers
1½ cup Water

In a skillet fry dry rice with ham; add sofrito, oregano, tomato sauce, paprika and water. Cover and let simmer until rice is almost tender. Add peas and capers. Heat another 5 minutes and serve.
