Prickly pear ice cream

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
10 Ripe cactus fruits; peeled and mashed
1 gallon Milk

Mix mashed fruit and milk together in ice cream maker. Don't add sugar or honey, since cactus fruit is sweet enough. Process according to manufacturer's instructions. For smoother ice cream, strain cactus fruits through colander to remove seeds. Makes 1 gallon.
