Pork sauerkraut pinwheel

Ingredients

¾ cup Bread crumbs, dry
2 eaches Eggs. slightly beaten
cup Milk
teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Thyme leaves
1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
2 pounds Pork, lean, ground
16 ounces Sauerkraut *1
¼ cup Onion, chopped
3 tablespoons Pimento, chopped
1 tablespoon Sugar
5 slices Bacon

Directions

*1 sauerkraut, drained and finely cut with scissors Combine bread crumbs, eggs, milk, salt, pepper, thyme and Worchestershire sauce. Mix in pork.

On waxed paper pat mixture into 12 x 9 inch rectangle.

Combine Kraut, onion, Pimento and sugar, spread evenly over meat.

Roll up from narrow end. Place loaf in greased, shallow baking dish.

Lay bacon over top.

Bake in 375 F. oven 70 minutes. **JJ** 102695.2017
