Plums in red wine

Measure Ingredient
1 quart Plums
2 tablespoons Sugar; up to 3
1 cup Light red wine; (Beaujolais is
; ideal)

Halve, pit and quarter the plums. Sprinkle with the sugar, add the red wine to almost cover the plums. Macerate 1 hour.
