Pear cake

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
⅜ cup Granulated sugar
¾ cup Shortening
3 cups All-purpose flour
1 cup Nuts
1 cup Pear preserves
4 Eggs
1 cup Buttermilk mixed with
1 teaspoon Soda
1 teaspoon Cloves
1 teaspoon Allspice
1 teaspoon Nutmeg

Mix all ingredients and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
