Yield: 15 servings
|1 cup||Granulated sugar|
|3 cups||Roasted peanuts -- skins on|
Boil sugar, water, and spices until syrup reaches hard crack stage (293). Drop peanuts into syrup. Stir until nuts are dry looking.
Pour out on to waxed paper and let stand until cool and dry. Makes 3½ cups.
