|Pods from 2 quarts peas|
Wash pea pods and cut into pieces; cover with water and boil with onion for 1-½ hours. Puree mixture, add seasonings, sugar, nutmeg and hot milk. Heat to boiling and thicken with butter and flour mixture. Serves 4.
