Yield: 1 Servings
|1 \N||Jar (1/2-gallon) hamburger chip pickles|
|3½ cup||Sugar (up to)|
|4 ounces||Your favorite hot sauce; approx (up to)|
|4 \N||Cloves garlic (depending on taste); chopped coarsely|
Don't be too 'exacting', make it too your taste. Drain pickles COMPLETELY.
Put them back into the jar about 1 inch depth at a time. Layer pickles 1", then ¾ cup of sugar, ½ oz hot sauce, and a few pieces of garlic. Keep layering until all is used. You may really have to pack in the pickles.
Each day for 10 days, turn the jar upside down and leave it, then the next day turn it upright and so on for 10 days. Store in the refigerator.
