Oysters on the half shell

| 24 | Oysters lettuce or crushed ice | |
| 2 | Lemons, cut into wedges Tabasco sauce | |
Directions
Wash oysters well. Prepare beds of lettuce or crushed ice on serving plates. Open oysters just before serving. Discard top shell; loosen oyster from bottom of shells by cutting ligaments but leave oyster on shell. Serve oyster immediately, garnished with lemon wedges. Serve Tabasco sauce seperately.
