Oriental salad (vegan)

1cupSliced or shredded cabbage
½cupSnow peas
1Can chinese baby corn, drained and rinsed
1Can water chestnuts, drained and rinsed
¼cupMirin (sweet rice wine)
2tablespoonsSoy sauce
2Carrots, shredded or julienned
½cupGreen onions, diced
Any other veggies you'd like, such as red bell pepper
1teaspoonChinese chili paste or some hot pepper flakes

Directions

DRESSING

Add sauce to veggies and let marinate for about an hour. Serve with pitas or rice.
