Oriental bacon stir fry

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Sesame oil
250 grams Smoked back bacon de-rinded and cut into; (8oz)
\N \N ; strips
4 \N Salad onions; diagonally sliced
1 \N Red pepper; de-seeded and
\N \N ; sliced
175 grams Beansprouts; (6oz)
125 grams Mangetouts; (4oz)
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
2 teaspoons Wholegrain mustard
1 tablespoon Clear honey
\N \N Salt and freshly ground pepper
1 teaspoon Sesame seeds

1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok. Fry the bacon and salad onions for 4-5 minutes over a moderate heat,stirring occasionally.

2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir fry for a further 4-5 minutes.

Transfer to a warmed serving plate and serve immediately with rice or noodles. As an alternative, for a firmer bite, use 2 bacon steaks cut into thin strips instead of the bacon rashers.

All recipes can be made using standard, tender sweet or Dry Cure bacon.
