|2 tablespoons||Sesame oil|
|250 grams||Smoked back bacon de-rinded and cut into; (8oz)|
|\N \N||; strips|
|4 \N||Salad onions; diagonally sliced|
|1 \N||Red pepper; de-seeded and|
|\N \N||; sliced|
|175 grams||Beansprouts; (6oz)|
|125 grams||Mangetouts; (4oz)|
|2 tablespoons||Soy sauce|
|2 teaspoons||Wholegrain mustard|
|1 tablespoon||Clear honey|
|\N \N||Salt and freshly ground pepper|
|1 teaspoon||Sesame seeds|
1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok. Fry the bacon and salad onions for 4-5 minutes over a moderate heat,stirring occasionally.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir fry for a further 4-5 minutes.
Transfer to a warmed serving plate and serve immediately with rice or noodles. As an alternative, for a firmer bite, use 2 bacon steaks cut into thin strips instead of the bacon rashers.
All recipes can be made using standard, tender sweet or Dry Cure bacon.
