Oriental bacon stir fry

250gramsSmoked back bacon de-rinded and cut into; (8oz)

4Salad onions; diagonally sliced
1Red pepper; de-seeded and
; sliced
175gramsBeansprouts; (6oz)
125gramsMangetouts; (4oz)
2tablespoonsSoy sauce
2teaspoonsWholegrain mustard
1tablespoonClear honey
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1teaspoonSesame seeds

Directions

1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok. Fry the bacon and salad onions for 4-5 minutes over a moderate heat,stirring occasionally.

2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir fry for a further 4-5 minutes.

Transfer to a warmed serving plate and serve immediately with rice or noodles. As an alternative, for a firmer bite, use 2 bacon steaks cut into thin strips instead of the bacon rashers.

All recipes can be made using standard, tender sweet or Dry Cure bacon.
