Orient hotel gingerbread

| 2½ | cup | All-purpose flour |
| 1 | cup | Sugar |
| 1 | cup | Molasses |
| 1 | cup | Boiling water |
| ½ | cup | Butter, softened |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 2 | teaspoons | Cinnamom |
| 2 | teaspoons | Ginger, ground |
| 1 | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| Icing sugar | ||
Directions
=Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Stir together flour, sugar, molasses, water, butter, eggs, cinnamom and ginger in a large bowl until smooth. Dissolve baking soda in a little hot water and stir into batter. Spoon into pan. Bake for 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cook slightly in the pan, then dust with icing sugar and cut into squares.
