Oreo cherry chocolate cream parfaits

| 1 | pack | (4-serving size) Royal® cherry gelatin |
| 1 | cup | Boiling water |
| 1 | cup | Cold water |
| 7 | Fudge covered oreo® chocolate sandwich cookies; divided | |
| 1½ | cup | Prepared whipped topping |
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in cold water. Pour into 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Chill until firm.
Coarsely chop 5 cookies; fold into whipped topping. Cut gelatin into cubes.
Spoon half the gelatin cubes into 4 parfait glasses; top with half the whipped topping mixture. Repeat layers. Chill until serving time. Halve remaining cookies; use to garnish parfaits.
