Nut balls (russian tea cakes)

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Sugar
½ cup Butter
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1¼ cup Cake flour
1 cup Pecans, chopped
\N \N Confectioners' sugar

Cream sugar, butter, salt. Add other ingredients except confectioners' sugar. Form dough into balls the size of a small walnut. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 300 for ½ hr. Cool on a rack; when partially cool, roll in confectioners' sugar.
