Nora pouillon's lemongrass sorbet

Ingredients

| 1 | cup | Sugar |
| 2 | larges | Stalks lemongrass, crushed and sliced |
| 1 | One-inch piece of ginger root | |
Directions
In a small saucepan, bring 4 cups water to a boil with the sugar, lemongrass and ginger. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temp. Strain and chill. Freeze in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
