Nora pouillon's lemongrass sorbet

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Sugar
2 larges Stalks lemongrass, crushed and sliced
1 \N One-inch piece of ginger root

In a small saucepan, bring 4 cups water to a boil with the sugar, lemongrass and ginger. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temp. Strain and chill. Freeze in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
