2 cups White sugar
¼ pounds Butter/margarine
3 tablespoons Cocoa
½ cup Milk
3 cups Oatmeal
½ cup Peanut butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla

This recipe comes from my wife's family, tho I'm sure it's pretty universal. Combine sugar, butter, cocoa and milk over medium heat. Bring to a boil. (let it boil a minute or so while stirring) Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter (smooth or crunchy). When peanut butter has melted, add vanilla and oatmeal. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto waxed paper. Makes about 3 dozen.
