New zealand oxtail stew

Measure Ingredient
1 each Ox tail
1 ounce Crisco
1 ounce Flour
2 eaches Onions
2 eaches Carrots
2 eaches Beefstock cubes
2 cups BOILING water
\N \N Pepper and salt

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

Disjoint the oxtail, roll each piece in flour and brown in hot fat.

Lift out meat and brown sliced vegetables. Put ALL into a saucepan, add seasonings and only enough liquid (beef stock or stock cubes crumbled and dissolved in boiling water) to cover the meat and vegetables. Simmer for 3 hours. Submitted By EARL SHELSBY On 02-14-95
