My mother's wine jelly recipe

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 Env Unflavored Gelatin
½ cup Cold Water
1 cup Boiling Water
1⅔ cup Sherry
3 tablespoons Brandy
1 cup Sugar
⅓ cup Orange Juice
3 tablespoons Lemon Juice -For Serving---
Sweetened Whipped Cream <Or> Boiled Custard

Soften gelatin in cold water. Dissolve in boiling water. Add sherry, brandy, sugar, orange juice, and lemon juice. Pour in mold and chill until set. Serve with sweetened whipped cream, flavored with sherry or brandy, or boiled custard.

Serves 6 to 8
