Ingredients

1largeEgg; beaten
150millilitresMilk
1pinchSalt
2teaspoonsBaking powder
6Pieces apricot; dried
2Pieces pear; dried
2tablespoonsRaisins
1tablespoonNuts; chopped
1Apple; grated
Butter for greasing
Icing sugar

Directions

Mix all the ingredients together and let the mixture rest for approximately 30-60 minutes for the oatflakes to swell.

Heat a frying pan or griddle and grease with a little butter. Drop the batter in by the dessert spoonful, about 3 at a time. Cook slowly until the edge starts to set, approximately 3 minutes, then turn over and cook the other side until lightly browned. Keep warm.

Repeat until the mixture is finished.

Serve immediately with a dusting of icing sugar.
