Mom's apple cake

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Flour
2 cups Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon Baking soda
¾ cup Oil
5 larges Apples
1 cup Nuts

Directions

Preheat oven 350. Mix together all ingrediants except apples and nuts. Peel and slice apples, fold into mixture. Crush nuts and mix. Pour into a 13 x 9 greased and floured baking pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes. For a lo-cal cake, substitute ¾ cup apple sauce for ¾ cup of oil.
