Meringue pie topping

2 \N Egg whites
¼ teaspoon Cream of tartar
¼ cup Sugar

1. Heat oven to 400F. In small bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until frothy. Gradually add sugar, beating continuously until stiff peaks form. Do not underbeat.

2. Spread meringue over pie filling; seal to the edge of crust. Bake at 400F for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
