Mashkigimin-onagan (traditional cranberry sauce)

Ingredients

| 1½ | pounds | Cranberries |
| 2 | cups | Maple sugar |
| 1½ | cup | Birch sap -=OR=- spring water |
Directions
Place all ingredients into a saucepan & bring to a boil. Reduce heat & simmer for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool & serve.
