Lemon herb barbecued shrimp

1teaspoonGround coriander
½teaspoonGround cumin seed
¼teaspoonGround ginger
teaspoonPaprika
1xCayenne pepper to taste
2poundsLge shrimp; (20 -25 count)
6eachesBamboo skewers - soaked in water for 30 min.
¼largeLemon; seeded and finely minced, incldg rind

Directions

Combine all ingredients except shrimp in a small saucepan; simmer 15 minutes, stirring frequently; thread shrimp, interlapping, on skewers; grill 4-6" from hot glowing coals, 3-5 minutes, turning and brushing frequently with lemon mixture; DO NOT OVERCOOK!
