Kellogg's® low fat granola pretzels

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Kellogs® granola® cereal low fat; any variety
1 cup Boiling water
1½ cup All-purpose flour
3 tablespoons Sugar
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
1 \N Envelope; (1/4 oz.) active dry yeast
1 \N Egg white (optional); slightly beaten
2 teaspoons Sugar
\N \N Vegetable cooking spray

1.Combine KELLOGG'S ® LOW FAT GRANOLA® cereal and water, let stand 5 minutes.

2.In large mixing bowl, combine flour, the 3 tablespoons sugar, salt, cinnamon and yeast. Thoroughly stir cereal mixture and add to dry ingredients, mixing until combined.

3.Place dough on floured surface and knead 2 minutes. Portion dough into 10 pieces. Roll each piece into 14 inch rope and shape into pretzel. Place on baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Let rise in warm place about 1½ hours or until doubled in size. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with Kellogg's ® Low Fat Granola® cereal or sugar, if desired.

4.Bake at 375øF about 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Serve warm.

YIELD: 10 pretzels
