Judy austin's black-eyed peas

Measure Ingredient
32 ounces Canned black-eyed peas
3½ ounce Packaged sliced pepperoni; diced
1 medium Green pepper; diced
1 medium Onion; diced
¼ teaspoon Hot sauce
2 tablespoons Hot taco sauce

Recipe by: Judy Austin Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven over low heat. Cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. 8 servings.

I did find this in Southern Living, so I hope it doesn't offend traditionalists :-).
