| 2 | tablespoons | Melted cracklings or fat |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| 2 | cups | Buttermilk |
| 1 | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| 2 | cups | Corn meal |
Directions
Beat eggs well and add salt, buttermilk and soda. Mix only to moisten; do no over beat. Pour into greased baking tin and bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
