Jane's white chili

Yield: 10 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Butter
2 pounds Chicken, boneless, chopped
2 mediums Onions, chopped
1 cup Chicken broth
8 ounces Green chilies
2 cloves Garlic, chopped
2 teaspoons Cumin
1 teaspoon Oregano, dried
¼ teaspoon Cloves, ground
¼ teaspoon Cayenne (or more)
48 ounces Jar of Great Northern Beans
3 cups Monterey Jack, shredded

Saute chicken, onions and garlic in butter until chicken is done. Mix in seasonings and chilies and saute for a few more minutes. Add this mixture with chicken broth and beans to crock pot. Cook on low for 4-8 hours. Add cheese just before serving. personal recipe of jane s herr, MJPU13B@...
