Hot sausage-bean dip

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ pounds Tennessee Pride® country sausage
1 can (16 oz) pork and beans in tomato sauce
2 ounces Sharp process American cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons Ketchup
½ teaspoon Prepared mustard
2 drops Tabasco® sauce; or more to taste

Cook sausage in a skillet until it loses its pink color; stir to break up sausage and drain off fat. In a blender combine sausage iwth beans, shredded cheese, ketchup, mustard and Tabasco; blend until smooth, stopping occasionally to scrape down sides. Return to skillet. Heat. Serve with corn chips or assorted crackers. Makes about 2½ cups.
