Ingredients

| 1 | tablespoon | Olive oil |
| 1 | pounds | Ground beef |
| 3 | tablespoons | Catsup |
| 2½ | tablespoon | ;Water |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground allspice |
| 1 | dash | Ground cinnamon |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | dash | Pepper |
| 6 | eaches | 6-inch pita bread rounds |
| 1½ | cup | Tomatoes; peeled and chopped |
| 5 | eaches | Green onions with tops; chopped |
| ½ | cup | Green pepper; chopped |
| ½ | cup | Cucumber; peeled & chopped |
| ½ | cup | Feta cheese; crumbled |
Directions
Saute ¾ cup onion in hot oil in a large skillet until tender. Add ground beef and cook until browned, stirring to crumble; drain off pan drippings. Stir in next 6 ingredients. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place bread rounds on a baking sheet; bake at 250 degrees for 10 minutes or until warm. Cut bread rounds in half; fill each pocket about half full with meat mixture. Top each with tomatoes, onion, green pepper, cucumber, and cheese. Yield: 6 servings.
