Honey currant scones

Measure Ingredient
\N 1 egg

2½ c flour

2 t grated orange peel

1 t baking powder

½ t baking soda

½ t salt

½ c butter or margarine

½ c currants

½ c sour cream

⅓ c honey

Combine flour, orange peel, baking powder, soda and salt; mix well.

Cut butter into flour mixture. Add currants. Combine sour cream, honey and egg; mix well. Stir honey mixture into dry mixture to form soft dough. Turn dough onto floured surface; knead 10 times. Shape dough into 8-inch square. Cut into 4 squares; cut each square diagonally into 2 triangles. Place on greased baking pan and bake at 375[F 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
