Honey apricot muffins

Ingredients

| 1½ | cup | Oat bran |
| 1 | cup | Chopped pecans |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 3 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Apple pie spice |
| 1 | cup | Honey |
| 2 | Egg whites | |
| 4 | tablespoons | Safflower oil |
| 1 | can | (16-oz) apricot halves in extra-light syrup; chopped finely with syrup reserved |
Directions
Preheat oven to 325øF, prepare pans. Combine first 6 ingredients (salt is optional). In another bowl combine honey, oil, egg whites, apricots & syrup; add dry mix to wet mix until just combined.
