Yield: 1 Batch
|2 cups||Quaker Oats, uncooked (quick or old-fashioned)|
|4 cups||Dry bread cubes|
|½ cup||Butter or margarine; melted|
|1 medium||Onion; grated|
|¼ teaspoon||Poultry seasoning (optional)|
|¼ teaspoon||Sage (optional)|
Place oats and bread cubes in large bowl. Combine remaining ingredients. Add to oats mixture; toss gently to mix.
Stuff lightly into body cavity and neck region of turkey. Roast according to standard roasting directions. For one 10 to 12-lb.
