Hearty italian soup

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¾ pounds Hot Italian Sausage; Sliced
½ medium Green Pepper; Chopped
1 medium Onion; Chopped
1 can Tomatoes (19 Oz); Broken Up
1 can Tomato Sauce; (7 1/2 Oz)
2 cups Water
½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Pouch Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup Mix
½ cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese

In a dutch oven or heavy saucepan, brown sausage, green pepper and onion; drain. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and garlic powder. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add soup mix; simmer, covered 5-7 minutes longer . May be frozen at this stage. Sprinle each serving with grated Mozzarella cheese.

Makes 4-5 servings.
