½ medium | Green Pepper; Chopped |
1 medium | Onion; Chopped |
1 can | Tomatoes (19 Oz); Broken Up |
1 can | Tomato Sauce; (7 1/2 Oz) |
2 cups | Water |
½ teaspoon | Garlic Powder |
1 \N | Pouch Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup Mix |
½ cup | Grated Mozzarella Cheese |
In a dutch oven or heavy saucepan, brown sausage, green pepper and onion; drain. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and garlic powder. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add soup mix; simmer, covered 5-7 minutes longer . May be frozen at this stage. Sprinle each serving with grated Mozzarella cheese.
Makes 4-5 servings.
