Hearty beef stew / goulash

1largeDiced onion
3Carrots 1/2 inch slices; up to 4
1poundsThickly sliced mushrooms
2tablespoonsPaparika
1teaspoonPepper
¾cupKetchup
Oil

Directions

Brown meat and saute onions in oil. Add seasonings and ketchup and simmer covered over low heat for 1 hour. Add carrots and mushrooms and continue to simmer for 1 hour.

Serve over thick noodles.
