Hearty beef stew / goulash

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Cut up stew meat
1 large Diced onion
3 \N Carrots 1/2 inch slices; up to 4
1 pounds Thickly sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons Paparika
1 teaspoon Pepper
¾ cup Ketchup
\N \N Oil

Brown meat and saute onions in oil. Add seasonings and ketchup and simmer covered over low heat for 1 hour. Add carrots and mushrooms and continue to simmer for 1 hour.

Serve over thick noodles.
