Haitian hot pepper sauce

3 | eaches | Habanero or 6 Serrano chiles, stems removed, chopped |
½ | cup | Papaya, chopped |
½ | cup | Raisins |
1 | cup | Finely chopped onions |
3 | eaches | Cloves garlic, minced |
½ | teaspoon | Turmeric |
¼ | cup | Malt vinegar |
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes. Place mixture in blender and blend until smooth. The Whole Chili Pepper From the collection of Jim Vorheis
