Yield: 6 Servings
|2 packs||Frozen French-cut green beans|
|2 tablespoons||Brown sugar|
|2 teaspoons||Garlic; minced|
|3 tablespoons||Dry white wine|
|½ teaspoon||Black pepper|
|1||Jar (large) small onions|
|½ cup||Slivered onions|
Cook green beans according to directions; drain. Melt butter & stir in sugar, garlic, wine & spices. Add drained onions & continue to simmer 20-30 minutes, spooning sauce over onions from time to time. Add beans & almonds & heat gently. Serves 6.
