Green beans in butter-wine

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 packs Frozen French-cut green beans
½ cup Butter
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
2 teaspoons Garlic; minced
3 tablespoons Dry white wine
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Black pepper
1 Jar (large) small onions
½ cup Slivered onions

Cook green beans according to directions; drain. Melt butter & stir in sugar, garlic, wine & spices. Add drained onions & continue to simmer 20-30 minutes, spooning sauce over onions from time to time. Add beans & almonds & heat gently. Serves 6.
