2 cans | Whole green beans |
4 tablespoons | Brown sugar |
4 tablespoons | Bacon grease |
2 tablespoons | Prepared mustard |
4 tablespoons | Vinegar |
\N \N | Onion salt |
4 \N | Strips bacon; cooked crisp |
Heat beans in water. Cover & cook 15 minutes. Drain & put into casserole dish. Heat sugar, mustard, vinegar & grease. Pour over beans & refrigerate overnight, if possible, but at least 6 hours. When ready to serve, heat beans in oven & crumble bacon on top.
