Ginger creams

Measure Ingredient
⅓ cup Shortening
½ cup Sugar
1 \N Egg
½ cup Molasses
½ cup Water
2 cups Flour
½ teaspoon Salt & soda
1 teaspoon Ginger
½ teaspoon Each: nutmeg, cloves &
\N \N Cinnamon
\N \N Easy Creamy Icing

Mix shortening, sugar, egg, molasses & water. Stir dry ingredients & blend in. Chill. Heat oven to 400. Drop by spoonfuls 2" apart on lightly greased sheet. Bake 8 minutes. While slightly warm, frost with lemon or vanilla flavored icing.
