Fudgy-pudding cake

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Martha Gooch Pancake and Waffle Mix
½ cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Cocoa
¾ cup Chopped nuts
½ cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
¾ cup Firmly packed brown sugar
¼ cup Cocoa

Cake forms on the top with a fudgy pudding sauce on the bottom Combine mix, sugar, cocoa, nuts, milk and vanilla in a 8" pan.

Combine brown sugr and cocoa and sprinkle over the mixture in the pan.

Carefully pour 1½ c. boiling water over all. DO NOT STIR! Bake at 350x F for 35-40 minutes or until edges pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool in the pan 15 minutes before serving.

Variation: Omit nuts and add 1 c. miniature marshmallows.
