Fudge-topped brownies

½teaspoonBaking powder
2eachesEggs
½cupMilk
3teaspoonsVanilla extract
1cupWalnuts, chopped
12ouncesSemi-sweet chocolate chips
14ouncesEagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
(not evaporated milk)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, eggs, milk and 1½ teaspoons vanilla; beat well. Stir in walnuts. Spread in greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 40 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.

Just before brownies are done, in heavy saucepan, melt chips with sweetened milk and remaining vanilla. Immediately spread over hot brownies. Cool. Chill. Cut into bars.
