Frijoles charro

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 \N Onion -- minced
½ cup Sausage -- chorizo or hot I
2 tablespoons Lard
16 ounces Tomatoes -- drained and
\N \N Choppe
3 cups Pinto beans -- cooked
6 \N Chilis, serrano -- minced (
6 \N Bacon -- minced
1 teaspoon Cumin
1 \N Ham -- diced (optional)

Add onions and lard to pinto beans and cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. In another skillet, fry bacon, ham and sausage. Add to beans with tomatoes, chilies and spices. Heat thoroughly.
