4 tablespoons | Honey |
2 \N | 2\" strips lemon peel |
2 \N | 2\" strips orange peel |
4 \N | Whole cloves |
1 \N | 4\" stick cinnamon |
¼ cup | Orange luice |
1 small | Honeydew melon |
1 pint | Strawbenles |
2 \N | Papayas |
SAUCE
Heat all sauce ingredients exxcept juice in a saucepan until honey melts.
Remove from heat, add juice. Let stand 1 hour. Cut melon into 4 wedges; remove seeds. Cut each wedge horizontally in half then in thin slices lengthwise; trim rind. Wash, then hull strawberries. Cut berries in halt.
Seed,peel papava . Cut into chunks. Combine fruit and sauce. seres 6.
