French-style peas

Measure Ingredient
3 \N Leaves Lettuce
1 tablespoon Butter
18 ounces Peas -- Frozen
½ teaspoon Salt And Pepper
¼ teaspoon Sugar
⅛ teaspoon Pepper

In large skillet with tight-fitting lid melt 1 tbsp. butter Spread 2 or 3 lettuce leaves in skillet. Add 18 oz. peas. Dot with 3 Tbsp.

butter sprinkle with ½ tsp. salt ¼ tsp. sugar and ⅛ tsp.

pepper. Cook over low heat 30 min. til tender.
